Taken of Wailua Falls on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, Wailua Falls is most famous for being being featured in the opening credits of Fantasy Island. The falls are measured at 173 feet and the mist creates a rainbow when the sun is at the right angle just adding to beauty of this scene. The natural beauty of Kauai is just too good to pass up and when you go there, it really is a step back in time. People smile at you, wave as you pass by, and let you in traffic around the island, all lost qualities of everyday life. People are just generally happy living in paradise! I also took a path to the top of the falls and literally stood on the edge on the waterfall looking down! Talk about vertigo!
