This is a HDR panorama I took of a sunset in Sedona, AZ 4-7-12. It consists of 6 frames, 3 shots for each frame for a grand total of 18 photos Please leave a comment or critique if you'd like......... I also did a non-HDR version which is here----->[link]
I have to say this is quite a panorama. The first thing I notice is the amazing contrast between the red ground and the blue sky. The ground may be slightly too red but I can't complain too much. There is something almost magical about the colors blending together with the purples and yellows. The image is very crisp and the hdr is rather well done, it is not obvious and certainly not the point of the picture. While there is a slight tilt in the picture, I like the apparent symmetry of the ground and the sky - meeting right in the middle.
Nice! This looks better than the non-HDR, but the non-HDR looks underexposed. It doesn't look like there's too much dynamic range in the non-HDR, so I'm wondering if you would have gotten even better results from single exposures with contrast/saturation adjustments. The HDR processing seems to have turned some of those reddish clouds on the right into gray.
Breath taking compilation. HDR is nicely processed, color saturation is not excessive, much nicer than the non-HDR version. Have you looked at a compromise someplace in the middle as well? Great shots stitched together regardless.
