This is the color version of this image I've decided to post as well as the black and white.
I took this in a hidden cove in Cabrillo National Park in San Diego, CA. The coolest part about this cove was when the waves came in and out, the rocks on this beach all clatter together and almost talk to you! I found this composition to very dramatic in black and white and it was one of those images that I knew would make a great black and white before I even pressed the shutter. This piece of coastline is where Spanish explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo landed in 1542 and became the first European to set foot on what is now California and the west coast of the United States.
